Mary Sauer is an acclaimed painter whose work has been exhibited nationwide at Arcadia Contemporary, The LA Art Show, Maxwell Alexander Gallery, Sloane Merrill Gallery, Meyer Gallery, and Principle Gallery, among others. Her paintings are held in the permanent collections of several museums.
Sauer has received top honors in major competitions, including Best in Show at the Portrait Society of America International Portrait Competition, multiple awards at the Oil Painters of America National Juried Exhibition, recognition from the Art Renewal Center, and three Elizabeth Greenshields Grants for traditional figure painting. In addition, she won the Springville Museum of Art’s Spring Salon.
Her work has twice appeared on the cover of American Art Collector and been featured in Fine Art Connoisseur, International Artist, The Artist’s Magazine, and Southwest Art.
