Jane Anne Woodhead was born and raised in North Ogden, Utah, to artistic parents who instilled in their children a deep love and appreciation for the beauty of nature. From a young age, she was drawn to expressing that beauty—often through drawings of horses and flowers. She later found her creative voice while studying design at Brigham Young University, where she earned her degree. Today, Jane Anne brings together her design sensibilities and love of the natural world in her landscape paintings.
Her work has received both local and national recognition, and she continues to grow as an artist by painting from life—an essential practice that informs her studio work and deepens her connection to her subjects.
"During the stillness of the early morning, and in the warmth of evening light, I feel especially grateful to be part of God’s creations. That sense of reverence is what I hope to honor and share through my paintings. Ultimately, I hope the viewer feels a similar connection—that it becomes a shared experience."
Jane Anne is also deeply grateful for the mentors who supported her early on.
"They believed in me when the path was uncertain, and their guidance helped shape both my skills and my resolve."
She lives with her husband in American Fork, Utah. They are the parents of four children and grandparents to twelve.
